Compassion and Support (MOLST)
This is the training link for the MOLST (Medical Orders for Life-Sustaining Treatment) program.
MOLST
is recognized by the NYS DOH. As such, Emergency Medical providers should become familiar with this process. The on-line training program is a great way to learn more about MOLST.
FEMA
This is the home site for the National Incident Management System training. ALL EMS responders must complete at a minimum the IS-100 and IS-700 training. Front line leaders must also complete IS-200 and NIMS-800. IS-300 and IS-400 are not available as on-line courses.

AMR Recertification Program
The Wyoming Erie Regional Emergency Medical Services Council (WEREMS)
This is one of 3 councils covering the Western NY area and specifically for Wyoming and Erie counties. This council exists under Article 30 of the NYS Public Health Law and is charged with directing emergency services in our area.

The Office of Pre-Hospital Care is the Program Agency for the Wyoming Erie REMSCo.
The Big Lakes Regional Emergency Medical Services Council
This is one of 3 councils covering the Western NY area and specifically for Niagara, Orleans and Genesee counties. This council exists under Article 30 of the NYS Public Health Law and is charged with directing emergency services in our area.
Western Regional Emergency Medical Advisory Council (WREMAC)
This is the entity that works toward the development of our unified regional
ALS
protocol and covers the WEREMS, Big Lakes REMS and Southwestern REMS councils. In addition to protocol development, the dedicated members of this council address a number of issues directly related to our regional emergency services.
